Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund, we may only be able to offer a repair or exchange in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty (as described in the product listing).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any items that are deemed to have customer induced damage (i.e. bent pins on a motherboard) will be processed under a chargeable repair.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, health and personal care items, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Digital products such as gift cards and downloadable software products also cannot be returned.

To complete your return, please get in touch with us through the contact form on our main page, or by emailing info[at]laptoprepairpro[dot]com. We will require a receipt or proof of purchase including your order number to begin the returns process.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 14 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your original order paperwork to determine your payment method and check how long that company takes before incoming payments are visible on your statement. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you must provide the information on the packing slip or a copy thereof so that we can identify your order. You’ll be eligible to receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will require the order information from the gift giver and will send a refund to them, meaning they will find out about your return.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info[at]laptoprepairpro[dot]com and send your item to: Laptop Repair Pro Ltd, Attn: Returns, 5 Ardgartan Court, Glenrothes KY7 6XB, making sure to include your order information and return address inside the parcel.

We take the quality of our products very seriously so please rest assured that the defect or damage will be investigated and reported throughout the supply chain.

Stock Rotation and Customer Error

Approval for return is at our discretion and is subject to a 20% restocking fee. You will be credited the lower value between the current market value or price paid (before restocking fee is applied). Customer returns shall be in immaculate condition and unopened and customer is responsible for associated freight costs. We reserve the right to refuse to credit any products not in a satisfactory condition.

Warranty Claims

If your product is under a manufacturer warranty but you’re unable to reach the manufacturer to arrange a repair, please reach out to us at info[at]laptoprepairpro[dot]com so we can help mediate. Our level of involvement will depend on the manufacturer and may include anything from providing the manufacturer’s up-to-date contact details to arranging the RMA with the manufacturer or accepting the return on their behalf.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, once your return is approved, you must send your item unopened and in its original condition your product to: Laptop Repair Pro Ltd, Attn: Returns, 5 Ardgartan Court, Glenrothes KY7 6XB.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and require a shipping label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and we cannot issue refunds for items we did not receive.
